Rigid Heddle Classes
Skill Level: New to Weaving
Formal to Funky Scarf – Introduction to Rigid Heddle Weaving
Experience the transformative power of weaving! New weavers will be guided through dressing the loom to completing a beautiful and functional scarf! Explore all the texture yarn has to offer and unleash your color desires by using novelty yarn to adding texture to your one-of-a-kind scarf.

Treasure Bag
Create a beautiful handbag with Dorothy in this class using the Rigid Heddle Loom. Dorothy will guide you through dressing the loom, basic weaving structure, and more advanced weaving methods to complete a stunning one-of-a-kind handbag!

Dorothy will lead you through all of the steps for this beautiful project, including warping your loom and how to achieve the log cabin weaving design.

4-Shaft Loom Classes
Skill Level: New to Weaving
Begin to Weave on a 4-Shaft Loom
Dorothy leads participants through each aspect of using a 4-shaft loom from calculating the amount of warp you need and how to warp this type of loom to finishing touches. This class is perfect for those who have not woven on a 4-shaft loom.
This is a two-day workshop.
Skill Level: New to Weaving
American MaidTM Washcloths
In this intro to weaving on a 4-shaft loom class, Dorothy will lead you through making decadent all-natural, organic washcloths that get more colorful with time. Directions start with warping the loom through successfull completion of two or three washcloths.
This is a two-day workshop, but you will likely have additional weaving to do after the class is through.

Huck Sampler Scarf
Dorothy will guide you through the traditional technique of Huck weaving to create a beautiful scarf with lots of texture.

Shadow Weave Table Runner
Shadow weave is a visually stunning type of block weaving using light and dark threads to achieve a repeatable pattern. Dorothy will guide you through the process of creating different patterns found throughout this gorgeous table runner.

Shadow weave is a visually stunning type of block weaving using light and dark threads to achieve a repeatable pattern. Dorothy will guide you through the process of creating different patterns for unique towels
This is a two-day workshop, but you will have four or five dish towels to finish on your own.
Skill Level: Advanced
Overshot Towels
The overshot weaving technique allows one to make intricate patterns on only four shafts. You will get a brief overview of how to warp the loom independently. Each session will build on the next so that you create six unique towels.
This is a five-session hybrid (online and in-person) workshop.

Double Weave Tool Caddy
Learn how to create an eye-catching caddy for all of your weaving tools while learning the details of double weaving! You will need to dress your loom prior to the start of class in order to take advantage of all of Dorothy's tips and assistance with this challenging technique.

Twill Sampler Scarf
In this class, Dorothy will lead you through the rules of twill weaving, and, of course, how to break them! Come with your loom dressed and your mind prepared for the creation of endless twill motifs.

Linen Towels in Halvdräll
Dorothy will guide you in the fun Halvdräll technique to make six beautiful hand towels. Halvdräll is a block weave that uses a single warp and two wefts. You will get a brief overview of how to warp the loom independently. Each session will build on the next.
